A gearhead gathering for Street Rods, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars, and Trucks on the Etowah River!

This car show has been a longtime dream for Dennis Graham. The challenges of 2020 didn’t allow gearheads to enjoy their rides, so he began thinking how cool it would be to jump start his intentions with a Halloween Car Show! With 5 weeks to prepare and a few volunteers the inaugural October 31, 2020 gathering drew over 210 cars and many more spectators than anyone imagined!

The favorable feedback proved how much everyone wanted a new show for this kar krazy area. Dennis immediately decided to host another in spring of 2021 plus a September 2021 date. Plans for facility upgrades were developed including widened and repaved entrance and roadway into the car show grounds. As mother nature rained out the first spring date, the decision was made to postpone the spring show until May 15, 2021.  The show was well worth the wait- the weather was perfect!  This show grew in attendance as well as to over 500+ cars! One of the most important additions to this show was that the show began raising money via donations for our local BackPack Buddies Program which provides weekend meals to children in food-insecure homes.  At this show, Ridz by the River donated $5,000 to the program, which provides food to 1,100+ local children!

At our 3rd Ridz by the River event on September 25, 2021 we had 897 cars in attendance, and we raised $5,000 for Backpack Buddies!

Many more improvements, additions, and exciting things are in the works for our next show on Saturday, May 21, 2022!
